Update on Military Popcorn DonationsTrails-End works with organizations that send gift packages oversees to our Troops. Trails-End provides the product and fees to cover the cost of sending popcorn oversees to the soldiers in our military. Trails-End will not be using Our Troops Online, which is located in Land O Lakes, Florida, for this coming fall sale. Payment OptionsTrail’s End has a list of recommended payment options for units who want to accept credit cards. If a unit is wishing to accept credit cards, and payments are linked to a Unit’s bank account, then they may need to get approval from the chartered organization. Trail’s End outlines four recommended options for accepting credit card payments using your smart phone! Many of you already may be using one of these methods or something similar, but for those who aren’t, we wanted to provide a list so you can start accepting credit cards this fall if you wish to do so. Accepting credit card payments helps drive incremental revenue and overcome “no cash” objections. The solutions below are easy to implement, and the higher sales from accepting credit cards more than offset the fees. The features and pricing listed in the Credit Card Payment Options below are current as of April 13, 2011, but are subject to change at any time. Be sure to check out the websites to get the latest details and to decide which solution is the best fit for your unit.
