Activities and Civic Service

Scouting means Doing

Our programs offer young men and young women opportunities to be active and grow through hands-on experiences. To supplement your unit program, a wide range of activities and service projects are offered, from your local community to across the world. In addition to Council sponsored activities, your local Scouting District may also sponsor an event. For information on different activities, please visit our News and Events page.

Civic Service

Training young people in citizenship is one the primary purposes of the BSA. "To help other people at all times" is more than part of the Scout Oath, it's a lifetime ethic of service taught by putting these ideals into practice.
